Spears have two Masteries at their disposal. Investing in these attributes will improve the player's effectiveness with all Spear weapons. The Spear's damage scales primarily off of the player's Dexterity Attribute, with Strength providing some benefit as well. On top of having the longest reach among all melee weapons, the spear can also be thrown, making for an extremely versatile weapon that excels in both close and ranged combat. It can also be used to perform large, sweeping strikes for crowd control. The Spear is primarily used as a two-handed melee weapon that offers quick, piercing strikes from medium distance and applying debuffs that renders an enemy's defenses less effective. The Spear is a melee weapon that boasts superior range without compromising on speed.
